MTB loop: Hala Rysianka, Ujsoły, Danielki & Młada Hora

I rolled out of Miłówka around 05:35 on 15 August 2026 on a beautiful midsummer morning — cool at the start, heating up as the ride went on. The line left through Cisiec toward Żabnica before the long climb. An early departure keeps Rysianka kinder; it also means the first hours sit in shade. Plenty of frames from that stretch were compromised and never made the collection. Afternoon light would be kinder for pictures on that climb.

Strava recorded about 70.1 km, 1,245 m of climbing, and 3:42 moving on a solo loop that returned to Miłówka via Rycerka Dolna and Rajcza. The Rysianka views make the effort worth it every time — Studzionka and Bacmańska Góra sit in the near skyline on the way up. I would not call that climb suitable for a beginner or low-fitness rider — and once you leave fire road or asphalt, the trail sections are testing even for experts. The whole loop rates as expert for me; like many Beskid days, you can also break it into single climbs instead of stacking everything in one go.

From the hala the views open wide. There is a PTTK schronisko up there, and people camp overnight for sunrise and sunset — I counted at least forty tents that morning (seeTents on the Ridge Hala). Camping is not my jam, but it is clearly popular. On the way down toward Złatna and Ujsoły, with Wielka Rycerzowa across the folds, the Tatra views from the Beskid fire roads are hard to beat. Dolina Danielki and the Młada Hora climb close the loop before the run home through Rycerka Dolna and Rajcza.
