Privacy Policy

Who we are
CarpathianPrints sells photographic prints of the Carpathian mountains. The site is operated by Jon Pulman (“we”, “us”). Contact:jon@jppropertyconsultancy.com.
What this site does
You can browse galleries and product pages, and place orders for prints and digital downloads through our checkout. You do not need an account to browse.
Information we collect
Information you send us
If you email us or use the contact form, we receive whatever you include (for example your name, email address, optional order reference, and message). The form is processed by our hosting provider (Netlify) and delivered to us so we can reply. We use that information only to handle your enquiry.
Order and checkout details
When you place an order we collect the details needed to fulfil it — for example name, email, shipping address, and payment confirmation. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. We send a transactional order confirmation to the email you give at checkout (order details and, for physical prints, cancel-window guidance). Physical prints are produced and shipped by our fulfilment partnerProdigi, who receive the shipping and order details required to make and deliver your print. Stripe and Prodigi process that data under their own privacy terms as independent controllers or processors for that purpose. Order confirmation email is sent via our email provider (Resend) acting as a processor for that message.
Technical and usage data
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) may automatically receive standard server and request logs when you visit — for example IP address, browser type, pages requested, and approximate time of access. This is used for security, reliability, and basic traffic understanding. We do not sell this data.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies and similar technology so the site and checkout can work (for example hosting via Netlify, and Stripe when you pay). These do not require a marketing consent choice.
Optional cookies / pixels (for example Meta Pixel or Pinterest) are used only if you click Accept on our cookie bar. They help us measure and improve marketing. If you choose Reject optional, we do not load those tags. You can change your mind any time viaCookie settings in the footer.
Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage) so we do not ask on every visit. Clearing site data will show the bar again.

- To meet legal or accounting obligations where they apply
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the site or fulfil orders (including hosting, Stripe for payment, and Prodigi for print fulfilment), or when the law requires it.
Retention
Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up. Server logs are retained according to our host’s normal practices. Order records are kept as long as needed for fulfilment, support, and legal/tax requirements.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under UK GDPR / EU GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, emailjon@jppropertyconsultancy.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
International transfers
Our host and some tools may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.
Changes
We may update this policy as the shop grows. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
